Position summary

About Marketing department The responsibility of this department is to carry out end-user-oriented marketing activities. In addition to advertising, we continue to convey the appeal of each product mainly to people who are not yet users by utilizing content programming and unique collaboration with business partners. Proceeding with the project in collaboration with overseas teams and other departments, our goal is to improve the value as a friendly and reliable platform centered on a wide range of content, active creators, and communities. As a Marketing Manager, you will - Plan and execute marketing campaigns in alignment with global/local strategy. Deliver high impact, localized campaigns through working closely with TikTok creators, agencies, cross-functional teams and/or global colleagues to achieve significant measurable growth. - Optimize ongoing marketing campaigns and secure media channels in collaboration with external agencies/partners, ensuring all marketing activations are relatable to targeted audiences and contribute to build trust and improve likability of TikTok. - Demonstrate an ability to think strategically and analytically about industry trends and marketing challenges, undertake relevant research and analyze/interpret data. - Liaise with local and global peers to share and take lessons from marketing campaigns. - Build relationships with TikTok creators, organize and participate in events to help develop their communities to increase their satisfaction and engagement. Position Requirement - Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in marketing, advertising, technology and/or media related field of study. - 10-year working experience in marketing, including but not limited to campaign planning, offline event management and media-buy, project management and partner management/operation. - Fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English. - Strong communication, negotiation and coordination skills. - Intellectual curiosity and ready to learn new skills and knowledge. - Good business/data analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds. - Experience of working closely with online creators is a plus. - Be willing to roll up your sleeves, be resourceful and help the program build from the ground up.
