About the team: Our team aims to help businesses and brands unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. We are looking for a seasoned marketing strategist to help us listen better, be more agile and continually look for ways to deliver real value to all of our stakeholders, internal and external, and across Canada. The Marketing Solutions Strategist sits within the Canada Business Marketing team focused on connecting industry insights, platform performance, cultural touchstones and audience needs to scale our point of view across channels. The ideal candidate shares our love for creativity, collaboration and community, and is unendingly passionate about their power to have a positive impact on our world. They are first and foremost a visionary strategist; a gifted storyteller, with the ability to translate insights into clear positioning & marketing outputs that are ownable to TikTok. They anticipate how client decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the insights that shape the business, understand how different verticals are showing up on TikTok to clearly articulate how TikTok can grow their business. They have an appetite for learning and are comfortable working outside their primary skill set and comfort zone. Responsibilities: - Align with US Business Strategy and Global Marketing Solutions to apply key deliverables to Canada, focusing on priority verticals and developing vital outputs that serve the Canadian market - Build innovative, forward-looking industry narratives, playbooks and B2B marketing outputs that speak to the challenges and needs of clients and agencies, assets should have a TikTok vibe, enable strategic sales conversations and inspire action - Define strategic points of view and translate them into effective, breakthrough narratives (presentations, one-sheets, research-based collateral) for multiple verticals - Partner with Marketing Science, Measurement, Global Trends + Insights, Creator Solutions to source on-platform top trends and insights that bolster TikTok's positioning across verticals - Collaborate with Business Training & Development team to train Sales, Marketing, and Product teams on the latest headwinds, tailwinds and trends in the industry to inspire new ways of driving consumption for clients. - Expand Canada's Global Business Solutions case study library focusing on key verticals, brandformance, and omnichannel strategies - Be a strategic partner to the Canada Global Business Solutions team - Multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, collaborating with appropriate team members - Utilize deep knowledge of the media buying cycle and media industry to help identify opportunities and anticipate barriers across multiple verticals - Support all Canada B2B events + sponsorships - Support GTM strategy by developing content that aligns with each tactic and vehicle - Build and curate a centralized portal for all CA business marketing and training resources for Canada Qualifications: - 5-7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or brand strategy - Familiarity with the key issues facing the industry including marketing innovation, ecommerce, privacy, and trust & safety - Knowledge of agency ecosystem, digital and traditional - Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft media strategy through compelling storytelling - Highly collaborative with experience working cross-functionally and leading multifaceted teams, ensuring they are clear on the expectation of their role / specific task - A self-motivated big thinker who is entrepreneurial in nature and comfortable working in ambiguous situations - Growth mindset, demonstrate initiative, flexibility, maturity under pressure, and anticipate and resolve problems before they develop - Fluency in French considered an asset TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
