    Team Introduction:
    We are the merchandise strategy team, part of the Tiktok Shop US Operations Center. The team focuses on merchandise strategy and related operations. We are mainly responsible for 1) selecting qualified merchandise by a set of criteria; 2) collaborating with category teams and user product operation teams (eg. UG, Campaign, Creator, Shoptab) to attain incremental GMV by boosting and subsidy on qualified merchandise.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operation of Product Pool Admission and Removal: Conduct exemption reviews for products submitted by business teams, according to established criteria of the admission and removal processes for key product pools. Monitor the performance of the product pool and take prompt action to remove items that do not meet the threshold.
    • Monitoring Product Pool Performance: Develop and maintain a data-driven monitoring system to track key performance indicators such as product traffic and conversion rate. Promptly identify performance issues and drive corresponding teams to implement solutions.
    • Product Information Quality Optimization: Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key product pools based on criteria of product information quality. Collaborate with business teams to improve product information quality.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or above expected in 2025. Academic background in mathematics, statistics, supply chain, computer science, or related majors is preferred.
    • Exceptional ability of data processing and analysis. Proficiency in Excel, Word and other office software. Strong written communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant internship experience in data analysis, category management and creator operation in internet e-commerce, and business analysis in consulting company is preferred.
    • Data sensitivity, clear logic, self-motivation, and a strong sense of accountability.

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $77615 - $81700 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
