Position summary

Responsibilities TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. TikTok has global offices including Mountain View, Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo. The Monetization Office is a strategy & operation team at ByteDance. It provides strategic support to multiple business lines, including user and commercial products, sales platform, vertical business and innovative business, and helps these businesses grow sustainably. The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics and financial modeling, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. In this role, you will: - Track international policy changes and industrial practice related to monetization integrity and safety - Identify gaps or conflicts in existing ads policies, system/products, or other issues raised by relevant teams, and conduct research on key issues of local, regional and global ads policies. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (product, sales, T&S, GR, PR, Sales and legal teams etc), develop scalable solutions, and work towards consensus across the organization. - Provide objective, thorough, and data-driven recommendations to leadership; clear and actionable suggestions to policy teams. - Build metrics, dashboards and tracking strategies to inform integrity performance and detect risks at early stage. -Strong research and analysis skills preferred Qualifications: - BA/BS degree or above - 2+ years of experience in the digital advertising industry. - Understanding of international politics, culture, ads policies, tech operations, and stakeholder management in quickly scaling organizations. - Legal background, familiar with local or global laws and regulations related to digital advertising. - Ideal to have experience in international Internet/social media companies. - Fast execution and excellent communication and organizational skills. - Passionate about Internet industry and willing to grow with the company in the process of learning by dealing with emerging global issues and challenges. - Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as tableau preferred TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
