    About the team
    We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our monetization strategy and operations (MSO) team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts in Southeast Asia. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. The MSO organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. Our team uses data analysis to help drive the company's monetization strategy and operations. We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive analytics initiatives that guide operational excellence for our SEA business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with the Southeast management and sales teams (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Phillipines), to shape Bytedance's mid-to-long term commercial incentive strategy with key partners to drive business growth
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends of competitors' deal offering, evaluate effectiveness and incorporate into Bytedance's deal design
    • Define monetary incentive structure and service value added to support Bytedance's partners' business expansion
    • Liason with cross-functional counterparties across legal, finance, tax, data, product etc. to drive deal implementation
    • Tactical short-term initiatives program design, aiming to capture short-term revenue opportunity
    • Budget planning, including establishing tracking dashboards, process and product enhancements, conducting ROI measurement and post-program analysis

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • More than 3+ years of work experience in a high growth tech company, strategy consulting firms or financial institutes
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and proactiveness in problem-solving
    • Fast learner, highly entrepreneurial with a good sense of judgment and original thinking

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong analytical skills, and experience in commercial deal designing is preferred
    • Experience in digital advertising with a great understanding of advertising products is preferred
    • Experience working in or dealing with advertising agencies is preferred
