    Position summary

    looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our Monetization Strategy and Operations (MSO) team. You will have a pivotal opportunity to shape monetization efforts across Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, you will partner with sales and cross-functional leaders to evaluate performance and strategize for the future.

    The MSO organization delivers business-critical insights through data-driven analytics, ensures the alignment of goals and execution across various functions, and supports teams in advancing strategic partnerships and new ventures. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

    We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive regional planning and cross-market initiatives that guide our business growth in APAC and the Middle East.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the strategic partner for the monetization team, developing growth strategies for TikTok and other emerging products across the APAC, Middle East, and Africa regions by engaging key stakeholders across sales and commercial functions
    • Conduct comprehensive external analyses to enable the business to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and key value drivers effectively
    • Establish and oversee performance goals for the monetization team, defining and monitoring essential performance and business health metrics to drive sustainable growth
    • Provide leadership with clear visibility into business and revenue performance, manage performance analysis and reporting, and oversee the cadence of business reviews.
    • Partner closely with TikTok leadership to develop and execute high-impact projects through analysis and research, transforming insights into growth initiatives.
    • Engage actively with cross-functional partners, including in-market strategy & operation teams, sales and sales operations, regional product marketing teams, and data teams, to drive analytical initiatives to successful completion
    • Liaise with the global functional team to drive the implementation of global initiatives, ensuring regional and local nuances and perspectives are effectively incorporated
    • Develop, refine, and enforce monetization processes and policies as the team grows, ensuring consistency and precision at the regional level

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, sales strategy, investment banking, or related roles. Experience in high-growth tech startups and digital advertising will be preferred
    • Demonstrate robust research and analytical skills. Proficiency in SQL programming and statistical modeling is a plus
    • Be a skilled project manager and a high-EQ team player with excellent stakeholder management and communication (both written and verbal) skills, adept at navigating complex cross-team, cross-region collaborations
    • Proficiency in English is a must; additional fluency in Bahasa, Japanese, Korean, or another Asian language will be preferred
