bjectives. Through strong partnerships with Product, Data Science, Policy, Algorithm, ADSO-Search Operations, and front-line teams, we leverage diverse expertise to tackle safety challenges unique to user interactions.
With a commitment to data-driven improvement, we have developed a comprehensive metrics system to evaluate operational effectiveness, including moderation efficiency, quality metrics, and machine performance. By regularly monitoring and enhancing our processes, we work to exceed safety targets, close performance gaps, and continuously elevate the quality of platform interactions.
Our team also leads to building scalable, adaptable safety processes that meet both current and future needs. Through continuous process development, we ensure sustainable efficiencies and maintain operational excellence, evolving with the demands of a safe and thriving community.
About the role
The AIS OGS Team Lead is responsible for leading a Strategic Optimization & Cross-Functional (XFN) Enablement team that designs, governs, and continuously improves the global policy-to-operations system across LOBs.
This role operates at the system design and governance level, ensuring that policies are translated into scalable operational frameworks and that the end-to-end moderation ecosystem remains consistent, measurable, and aligned with Product and Policy direction.
The TL does not own operational execution or BAU delivery; instead, it focuses on system-level optimization, governance design, and strategic cross-functional alignment.
Responsibilities
- Own and govern global policy versioning across LOBs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and structural integrity of the policy system, while aligning policy evolution with long-term operational and business needs.
- Lead the design and continuous optimization of the end-to-end policy-to-operations operating model, translating policy and product objectives into scalable and executable system-level frameworks.
- Serve as a key cross-functional partner to Policy, Product, Risk, and Operations leadership teams, driving alignment on policy interpretation, operational standards, and system design trade-offs.
- Own the design and effectiveness of the policy-to-operations feedback loop, ensuring frontline operational insights are systematically captured, structured, and translated into policy, process, and system improvements.
- Define and maintain governance structures, operational standards, and measurement frameworks to ensure consistent interpretation and execution of policy across regions, products, and operational teams.
- Lead strategic enablement for new policy and product initiatives by ensuring operational system readiness, embedding policy and execution considerations into launch design, and providing system-level guidance on scalability and operational risk.
