The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    About the team
    The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a crucial role in upholding the quality and safety of the TikTok platform. This advanced position involves assessing the quality of performance by moderation sites, reviewing sensitive and graphic content, and ensuring compliance with policies and processes to protect users and the platform.

    Responsibilities
    Conduct quality assessment work by ensuring and evaluating the quality delivery of the content reviewed in the US market.
    Conduct root cause data analysis and summary.
    Provide QA reports to content quality center team members and liaison with them to ensure consistent quality measurements throughout the operation.
    Work closely with local operations and act as escalation point of contact for policy-related questions, issues, and solutions.
    Conduct coaching and calibration sessions to the Content Moderation teams to ensure that operational policies and processes are applied consistently.
    Enhance moderation policy and community safety continuously.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications
    Strong communication skills, attention to detail, create reports and maintain documentation
    Creative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines
    Experience applying policy with sound judgment to online content
    Able to work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of work and completing tasks in timely manner, while adapting rapidly to changing work environments, priorities and organizational needs
    Ability to identify gaps in existing processes/policies/procedures and efficiency gain through enhanced processes, policies and procedures

    Preferred Qualifications
    BA/BS Preferred
    Intermediate proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and other Data Management Platforms
    Experience working in a start up environment or on new teams/workflows in established companies
