    Position summary

    Responsibilities
    -Conduct research and review stakeholder feedback to help shape NA advertising policies
    -Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Public Policy, PR, Advertiser Experience, QA, Training, and Systems, to develop sound, enforceable policies
    -Collaborate closely with partner teams to implement and maintain effective and scalable cross-team workflows
    -Manage incoming queries about advertising policies and provide accurate, clear, and concise responses, to ensure consistent decision-making and cross-team alignment
    -Work directly with Policy & Product Managers to review trends, document and report findings, and iterate policies to drive improvements
    -Help develop and maintain clear policy documentation, including project briefs, internal guidance, and cross-team updates.
    -Support the NA Regional Policy & Product team to deliver wider integrity initiatives

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Graduating in 2026 or later, currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or above
    • Academic background in Law, Public Policy, Public Relations, Political Science, International Business, or related field experience or project work, especially in digital media, is preferred
    • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated interest in digital safety topics, policy, or platform governance; and good understanding of the dynamics between users, advertisers, and advertising policies
    • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities
    • Good understanding of the digital advertising landscape, and a passion for the TikTok product

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Able to intern for 3 months or longer; candidates available to work 5 days a week are preferred.
    • This is a project-based internship with full-time commitment preferred (5 days/week, 12 weeks) or at least 3 days a week.
