Position summary

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. Our Sales Operations and Planning team is essential to enabling TikTok's sales teams to drive revenue at scale efficiently and strategically. This team is responsible for revenue planning and pricing, operational effectiveness in our tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive and fruitful partnership cross-functionally across internal teams. We are looking for a Revenue Operations & Analytics Manager to join the Sales Operations Team. This highly organized and efficient professional must be flexible and able to wear multiple hats while working closely with our cross-functional teams and prioritizing the needs of the team. Responsibilities: - Ongoing data & system structure evaluation; identify, propose, and implement enhancement(s)/solution(s) imperative to building out the foundational analytics framework for the Sales Operations team. - Use TikTok's data and your understanding of our advertising business to provide guidance to members of sales leadership via business reviews in an effort to increase market share and drive revenue. - Regularly and proactively brainstorm hypotheses and model tests to prove them in order to bring unique insights to sales leaders. - Present findings and insights in a consultative way to internal stakeholders and collaborate with the relevant cross functional teams in order to provide a detailed recommended project plan. - Leverage automation to build solutions for current manual Sales Operations processes and enhance the overall efficiency of the business benefiting multiple cross-functional teams. - Be a proponent of data driven decision making and encourage key stakeholders to act on the recommendations. - Be able to deal with ambiguity in order decipher complex problems, select an ideal solution from a wide array of analytic techniques and concepts and translate into actionable recommendations. - Have the ability to collaborate, work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across multiple business functions. Desired Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of data/quantitative analytics, strategy and operation experience in tech industry; past experience as an investment banker, consultant, or business operation role at tech companies is highly preferred; knowledge of advertising industry a plus. - Strong data and analytics capabilities, comfortable with writing complex SQL queries, and proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or R is highly preferred. - Excellent data driven storytelling skills – create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals leveraging expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. - Self-starter attitude: You’re someone who can initiate and drive complex analysis to completion with minimal guidance and then synthesize and communicate insights with the senior stakeholders. - Get-it-done mindset: You’re motivated to work hard and efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment. - Always Day 1 mentality: You're someone who enjoys building things from scratch, and constantly pushing the boundaries of the current operations process. - Have a passion for TikTok. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with international teams across multiple time-zones. - Mandarin fluency / proficiency. - Experience directly supervising and developing people.
