    About

The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    About the team
    The Search Team is responsible for pursuing a satisfying search experience and increasing awareness of positive search activity on TikTok. They coordinate resources from all markets to enhance traffic for search consumption (Click, VTR, VV, etc.), user acquisition, and search retention.

    The Search Events Team is responsible for the eco system development for TT search. Events team breaks down the types of creators corresponding to different content and provides services to creators, such as search inspiration, creative tools, traffic and monetary incentives, etc. We are expecting that through these means, we can introduce content needed for search in a targeted manner and enrich the eco system, while better satisfying users' search experience.

    It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for undertaking search-side campaigns proposed by different projects; improve the user's search experience for such activities in search and expand the user's search demand for content.
    • Optimize cooperation standards and strategies based on different types of activities in certain regions.
    • Dig into the demands of each type of content in different regions and explore ways to improve search-related metrics.
    • Conduct basic surveys or analyses on certain data to assess performance and expression.
    • Find potential opportunities and risks through daily work and put forward suggestions for improvement.
    • Additional compatible and related responsibilities which are not necessarily listed above

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Knowledge about search engines and TikTok. Familiar with similar apps.
    • Familiar with common software, and the SOP of events online in social apps
    • Have a great sense of data analysis, especially for complicated business matrices.
    • Has an in-depth understanding of regional culture and familiarity with the users' habits.
    • Has brilliant judgment when encountering unsure cases and feedback timely and properly.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or above
    • Previous experience within the Social Media / Internet / Technology industry will be highly preferred

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88000 - $151111 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
