Global e-commerce is a content e-commerce business with international short video product as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products with affordable prices. Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored, active and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.
Global e-commerce central platform team is a global team responsible for developing the fundamental product platforms and providing the overall technical solutions that power all of the global e-commerce business scenarios, including business globalization and the diversity in different industries. We are committed to providing high-quality, high-extensibility and high-stability capabilities, ranging from the product center, to the check out/transaction/payment center, and then fulfillment/after-sales support.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, implementing and delivering high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce business, including product, transaction, payment, fulfillment, after-sales etc.
- Responsible for continuously improving the stability, scalability and quality of the existing services and architecture of central product systems.
- Responsible for the investigation and implementation of new technologies related to e-commerce business.
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 4+ years experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.
- Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style.
- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design.
- Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems.
- In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.
- Experience with E-Commerce or Monetization Products is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $175750 - $266000 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
