The Role We are looking for a highly motivated lawyer with experience of advising on regulatory compliance matters and managing the response to regulatory investigations within the technology sector or other comparable consumer-facing industries. The suitable candidate should also be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and, on occasions, dealing with urgent and/or competing deadlines.

The Team We are seeking an experienced senior lawyer to join our Global Legal (EMEA) team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and support a wide range of regulatory/compliance matters and complex and high profile issues. The role will be based in London or Dublin.


  • supporting business teams to ensure ongoing compliance with new and existing consumer, advertising and online platform-related legislation across Europe;
  • supporting our product legal team to review new products and features against relevant law and guidance;
  • engaging with regulators, including those responsible for consumer law, advertising and online platform regulation, with responsibility for ensuring the consistent and strategic handling of regulatory enquiries and investigations; and
  • assessing risk and coordinating with the wider business as a trusted adviser on compliance and risk management issues.​ Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 8+ years' PQE.
  • Experience of regulatory compliance and regulatory investigations within Europe, including consumer law, advertising rules and regulation of online platforms.
  • Good knowledge of EU and UK consumer law, advertising rules and other areas of regulation relevant to online video sharing platforms.​
  • Background in consumer-facing technology or extensive experience in this area from private practice.
  • Ability to manage a large number and variety of high profile and strategic projects and navigate ambiguous legal and regulatory environments.
  • Ability to work as a team player who can effectively work with, manage and coordinate colleagues, internal stakeholders and the business.
  • Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organisation.
  • Experience in crisis management and response handling.
