The mission of the Brand Ads Innovation team is to help business achieve their true branding goals with flexibility, efficiency, and creativity, while seamlessly marrying TikTok's most compelling user experiences into branding experiences. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to build the Ads Quality practice for the Brand Innovation team. This individual will set the vision, develop the roadmap, and define principles and tradeoff strategies for maximizing value creation in the ecosystem, platform monetization efficiency, and end-user experience to ensure sustainable growth. Responsibilities - Set the vision and develop the roadmap for world-class advertising products that leverage and enhance the unique features of TikTok and meet the needs of the market - Partner with data science and engineering teams to define, develop, test, and launch prediction models, optimization mechanisms, pricing strategies, and inventory allocation logic for various advertiser goals and ad products - Define principles and tradeoff strategies for maximizing value creation in the ecosystem, platform monetization efficiency, and end-user experience to ensure sustainable growth - Analyze current product portfolio and underlying optimization methodology and provide prioritized suggestions for improvement - Collaborate closely with the User Product team, engineering team, data science, and other cross-functional teams to drive systemic improvements that grow the business as a whole - Form hypotheses for validating product strategy, design and carry out experiments to test hypotheses, present results, and make decisions based on experiment results Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or equivalent science/technical field strongly preferred - 5+ years experience in product management, having designed, developed, and launched multiple large-scale deep technical products and features from scratch (please note this does not mean total years of experience) - Experience with ML-based forecasting and prediction models based on large data sets, preferably in digital advertising - You are: Highly analytical, laser-focused on the needs of the user, able to define product roadmap despite ambiguity and uncertainty, and data-oriented but will not freeze if little data is available - you will make a decision - Outstanding interpersonal skills communicating both in person and in writing, public presentation experience a plus Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a start-up environment - MBA degree TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
