Team: The Algorithm Engine team focuses on building a powerful engine that inspires user creativity with cutting-edge technologies. Our engine is the core engineering framework for intelligent algorithm integration, verification and deployment on various platforms, empowering visual effects, video editing capabilities, camera filters and other creative features in TikTok and other products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the core algorithm engine.
• Put cutting-edge algorithms in TikTok and other products in to production
• Optimize algorithm run-time performance across various hardware platforms.
• Build automation frameworks to ensure high algorithm quality and efficiency.
• Build tools that deliver smooth algorithm exploration experience to developers and designers.
• https://B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD in Computer Science or in a related field
• 3+ years of industrial C/C++ experience, solid CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OOD/DOD, TDD) and problem-solving skills
• Solid algorithm system design and implementation experience, including but not limited to inference engines, machine learning compilers, deployment pipelines, CV/CG/NLP/AIGC SDKs.
• Deep hands-on experience in one of the following areas: computer vision / image processing / computer graphics / heterogeneous computing / deep learning systems
• Proficiency with common debugging & profiling tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a cross-culture work environment

Preferred Qualifications Experience in one of the following areas is a plus:

• Strong performance optimization experience with heterogeneous computation resources (CPU/GPU/DSP/NPU).
• Basic graphics related development experience: rendering, graphics API, game engine, scripting system, game editors
• Cross-platform C++ development experience with iOS/Android/PC/Web applications
