As a site reliability engineer in this team, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenges of developing large-scale distributed systems to support the low latency and high quality end to end live streaming experience on a global scale, while leveraging your expertise in both coding and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

1. Take key responsibilities to improve the live streaming system stability on a global scale with multiple data centers

• Build processes, tools, automations, visualizations and monitors to facilitate the operation and optimization of the global live streaming infrastructure.
• Engage in and improve the whole service lifecycle, from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Scale up systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and initiate changes that improve system reliability and processing speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience.
• Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong in analytical skills and the ability to solve real world problems in a fast moving environment
• Experience in designing, analyzing and building automation and tools for large scale systems
• Experience in building solutions with AWS, Google, Azure and other cloud services
• Familiar with Unix/Linux operating systems.
