Position summary

From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small. The SMB Global Vendor Manager role is a critical part of the SMB Shared Services Team. This highly visible and influential role will collaborate extensively with leadership, business stakeholders, internal operations and cross functional teams. You will demonstrate strong executive presence in representing the organization and effortlessly navigate from strategic to tactical issues. You will work in partnership with all of our key cross functional teams, such as; Sales, Client Services and Product, in order to enable the effective and impactful implementation of scalable growth with our vendor network. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in working in a fast paced environment, that sees change as an opportunity for us to improve client experience. You will be comfortable managing complexity, will have a keen eye for process improvement and will be comfortable managing towards key deliverables. Responsibilities - Raise the bar - Manage vendor performance, proactively detect potential risks and take decisive actions to ensure and maintain good performance. - Find the best solutions - Define and execute strategies to maximize impact and efficiency of our vendors. - Have the bigger picture in mind - Collaborate with stakeholders such as our Sales and Client Services teams, product and growth teams, to help launch new sites, programs and products in a thoughtful and effective way. - Be methodical and focused - Ensure performance analysis, insights gathering and stretch goaling across all activities to ensure we are creating scalable, high quality partnerships with our partners. - Embrace change as an opportunity - Constantly seek opportunities to improve our operation, our process and help enable change through clear communciation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - Be accurate and forthright - Managing large commercial contracts, with a clear focus on 'pay for performance' agreements with our vendors. - 5+ years of experience in outsourcing/vendor management, including new site launches. - Demonstrated success in vendor performance management and driving improvement. - Proven track record in scaling vendor teams. - Experience building sales teams and digital adverting experience a plus. - A keen eye for process improvement and operational transformation. - Ability to think strategically and utilize strong creative problem solving skills. - Ability to influence cross-functional, senior leaders and drive change. - Executive level verbal and written communication as well as strong presentation skills.
