TikTok's SMB (Small and Medium Business) team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps, be discovered! From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs, to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Training Manager to support the ongoing training and development of our in-house and outsourced teams in order to ensure a high quality customer support experience for our SMB advertisers. This leader will own the identification of training and development needs and the subsequent creation and delivery of training solutions for both EMEA and cross regional based SMB employees. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated operational success in developing and delivering training programs across multiple regions.
Lead the SMB Training team for EMEA to design and expand enablement programmes based on the needs assessment of sales teams including onboarding and continuous development
Conduct regular learning needs analysis and align with Learning Experience Design, SMB Sales, Quality, Vendor, Marketing etc to adapt training programs to the needs of the business across product, process sales and soft skills
Own and deliver global training programs focused on core sales functions/areas with partners based in multiple regions
Own the performance management, coaching and professional development of a team of training specialists
Define processes to ensure training evaluations are conducted and actions are made to ensure all training provided is impactful and aligned with business objectives
Manage the operational responsibilities of a training team including communication to the org, training calendars, trainer capacity etc.
Stay connected on current learning/teaching trends and adopt innovative approaches to drive impactful, engaging learning for our learners
Proven leadership experience, within L&D, HR, or similar field, with training experience as a must!
Passion for training, must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric
Project Management experience working in multiple territories in EMEA/Global to drive enablement
An operational mindset with an ability to work strategically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity and change
A strong understanding of adult learning theory with experience designing and implementing effective training and development through adopting multiple learning approaches (ADDIE, VARK, Kirkpatrick's model of evaluation etc)
Ability to link training to performance and quality using measurable outputs
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet timelines on regional and global training deliverables
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with experience working within a multi-cultural, multinational organisation to drive training deliverables
Bachelor's degree, professional qualification, or equivalent work experience, in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required
