Team Introduction The Vision Engineering team is a team focusing on building advanced end-to-end computer vision and deep learning production pipelines, including deep learning model training, optimization, deployment and applications. We provide vision capabilities to empower content creation and consumption on TikTok and serve billions of users. The Vision Engineering team is looking for senior software engineers who can take initiatives to design and implement sophisticated recommendation systems for effects and editing templates. The main responsibilities include building online and offline recommendation model training and serving pipelines, identifying and resolving recommendation performance and effectiveness bottlenecks, working with product teams to deliver recommendation algorithms to achieve top-line metric gains and so on. Responsibilities - Own the design and implementation of our end-to-end recommendation systems, including online services, data processing, model training, distributed storage and computing. - Responsible for driving top-line metrics, perform iterations to make recommendation more effective and performant. - Build automation frameworks and tools to ensure high engineering quality and efficiency. - Work with product teams to ensure smooth product delivery with high standards, prioritize short-term returns and long-term growth. Qualifications - B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related fields with 7+ years of software development experience. - 5+ years C/C++/Go/Python experience, proficient in at least one programming language and solid software engineering background. - Experience in large-scale backend systems with DL and CV components; familiar with RPC frameworks and key-value storage systems. Experience in dealing with concurrent systems and architectures. - Proven successful record of delivering commonly used recommendation products and systems. - Experience in content understanding and personalized editing effects recommendation. - Great communication and teamwork skills.
