About the Team The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We are looking for a leader to join our newly formed team and oversee the growth of the TikTok Shop Partnership (TSP) business. The TSP team is the TikTok partnership team which develops and manages partnerships with diversified types of TSPs. About the Role The TSP KA team leader, is to lead the TSP KA team, to work with TSPs who mainly focus on working with key accounts (merchants) to help merchants grow their business. This business leader is responsible for building the foundation of the partnership business for TikTok Commerce in US. This person will develop the go-to-market strategy, prioritize key initiatives, and build and manage a team. They will be responsible for driving the number of partners, managing the team to unlock key partners who can help merchants run on TikTok Shop more efficiently. Responsibilities - Focus on the TSPs who mainly focus on working with key accounts (merchants) - Build overall partner strategy to deliver growth for the business - Define goals, identify opportunities and design approaches to grow the number of partners - Hire and grow a strong team to drive growth and align with the business strategy - Acquire and grow 3rd party partners, such as media agencies, content marketing agencies, live streaming tech solution providers - Collaborate with category teams to drive business growth - Solve key challenges in business growth through strong collaboration with cross-function teams - 10+ years of experience in e-commerce business; mixed experience in both platform side and brand/merchant side is highly preferred - 5+ years experience in partnership management - 5+ years experience as a people manager of a significant team size (~10+) - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills - Team player, fast learner, and open to changes Preferred Qualifications - Experience in content-based e-commerce - Strong connections with e-commerce related 3rd partner ecosystem - Experience managing people managers of varying experience - Ability to foster C-Level executive relationships with a genuine interest in customers’ success - Ability to recruit and retain top talent - A proven penchant for creative problem-solving - Proven track record of high-level negotiation TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
