Position summary

TikTok enables everyone to be a creator, enabling ordinary users to not only consume, but also effortlessly create content directly from their smartphones. The TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe. We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join TikTok LIVE team. Working closely with our diverse teams in the US, this role will focus on building the social presence of TikTok LIVE across major social platforms Responsibilities - Develop and manage US social media strategies and content to build awareness of TikTok LIVE and LIVE content creators on relevant social media platforms, including TikTok. - Manage social content pipelines and ensure the consistency of brand social presence, working with cross-functional teams for idealization, sourcing creators, and producing content. - Manage external creative agency relationships, including project coordination, briefing, delivery management, brand compliance, and quality assurance. - Copy write social content, on-platform campaign messaging, and product messaging focused on driving impact and cultural relevancy - Manage social media reporting and analytics to quantify and qualify the effectiveness of social media content and campaigns. - Collaborate and maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams to maximize the impact of social channels and ensure alignment across channels and teams. - Experience in managing brand social media accounts such as TikTok (especially videos and live streaming), Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch, Snap - Experience in creating TikTok videos and editing video content in collage or teaser style - Strong copywriting skills with a good grasp of branding and community culture - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented, ability to work with a wide range of internal departments and regional teams - Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment and to evolve strategy based on research, data, and industry trends - Critical thinker and problem solver who leans in and multitasks in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environments - Bachelor's degree or above with 2-3 years of solid experience in digital content creation, social media marketing, or related fields Preferred Qualifications: - Deep passion for TikTok, mobile entertainment, social media, and popular culture - Experience in the live streaming space and understanding of live streaming trends - Creative mindset and thought process that's focused on driving business parameters forward - Familiarity with editing apps such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
