    MED (Merchant Ecosystem Development), are a team of 60 TikTok Shop frontliners who primarily handle various aspects of the Seller journey. This includes merchant Acquisition, Incubation, Education, Engagement, and also TikTok Shop Partners & Vendors (TSP) management. We work closely with Sellers and Merchants to help them onboard smoothly and improve their performance, then graduate to higher tiers within TTS. Our team also handles external speaking, training and engagement events, and works with the Government and other related corporations on all related partnerships, in order to build solid grassroot foundations for the local community, and maintain a healthy revenue inflow for our MY operations.     In this role, you will identify and justify event potential to enhance seller acquisition and platform awareness while also being involved in business development with external parties.

    Role & Responsibility:

    • Identify and justify event potential to enhance seller acquisition and platform awareness
    • Strong business development skills to identify potential partners for future collaborations and negotiations
    • Responsible for preparing proposals and budgeting for each event
    • Improve event segmentation and prioritize accordingly
    • Strategically plan events to meet ROI requirements and achieve objectives
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, often involving multiple teams in event execution
    • Justify the long-term impact and objectives of offline events
    • Engage in the seller growth journey

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce
    • Background or experience in Business Development or Corporate Partnership

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Past trade exhibition network
    • Agile and able to work well under pressure, handling ad hoc assignments and tight deadlines without compromising output quality
    • Curious and knowledgeable on e-commerce landscape and prominent social or e-commerce platforms. Understands and embraces new trends with a wide range of interests, and is sensitive to hot topics and news hotspots
