    About the Role:
    Our ideal candidate is an self-starter with the ability to creatively connect brands & creators to create shoppable content at scale. We are looking for individuals who are inspired by big ideas - and welcome those who thrive in ambiguity and disruption. The Category Creator Specialist will serve an essential function for merchant operations, with a primary focus on driving growth and success of our merchants via creator engagement. The role has a broad scope from managing content programs and Creator Affiliate identification and onboarding, merchant content strategy development, and helping the Category team execute content strategy by partnering with Creators. The position plays a central role in supporting all elements of creator strategy, affiliate development, and content programs for our top TikTok Shop merchants. We're onboarding some of the world's largest and on-trend Electronics brands engaging with TikTok Shop. We need a strong partner-connector who can help these brands find their creative voice to reach and inspire the next generation of customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and demonstrate expertise in the Creators that create the best shoppable content within the Electronics category, and how key brands can partner with them to drive content commerce
    • Partner with Category Managers and top merchants within the Category to understand their content & commercial strategy, and identify and activate the best Creator influencers to activate that content strategy
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive creator marketing strategy that is aligned with our merchants' audience reach, engagement, and conversion goals
    • Identify and recruit creators who align with our merchants' values, target audience, and product offerings
    • Develop effective creator briefing templates and materials to accelerate the production process
    • Manage the creator sampling process from start to end, measure/optimize availability, speed, and conversion
    • Monitor and analyze creator-generated content and performance to build best-practice models for content mix (brand, creator, paid), scale, and optimization
    • Own Creator-facing execution and partner with Category Managers to resolve issues, and develop the optimal process to execute at scale as the business grows
    • Collaborate with fellow TikTok creator teams to share best practices and identify new resources, tools, and program opportunities

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
    • 2+ years of specialized experience in Influencer or Creator marketing, digital marketing, or content commerce
    • Experience partnering with Brands or commerce platforms to execute, optimize, or scale their influencer and affiliate programs
    • Fluency with TikTok's platform, content trends, Creators, and the TT audience
      Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong network and familiarity with creators, creator agencies, affiliate sampling programs

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $143555 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
