About The team
The On-demand delivery team is a team responsible for instant and sameday delivery within bytedance group, the team is a analytic driven problem solver with high exposure to technology innovation to continue drive delivery efficiency. The Senior Business Associate will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis and insights to support the on-demand delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of both scopes and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of on-demand delivery and sortation/middle mile processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Own OKRs to drive cost reduction and improve reliability for On-Demand Delivery Business thru technology and lever (Batching Optimization, Routing)
• Maintaining business relationships with bytedance e-commerce platforms and external technology team
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for process enhancements, cost reduction, and service quality improvements.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proficient in using data analysis tools and techniques.

Preferred Qualification

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in ride-hailing company is a plus
• Mandarin is a plus (Nature of work to handle overseas client)
