About the team
In this role you will be responsible for TikTok Shop's user segmentation strategy, including identifying growth opportunities and formulating growth strategies
Responsibilities
- Lead Malaysia TikTok Shop's channel operations, including Flash Sale channel and Mall channel
- Responsible for the strategy design of key channels, including benchmarking comparable platforms (e.g. Douyin and Shopee), defining value proposition of channels to relevant parties (TTS platform, Sellers, and Buyers), quantifying the value proposition by designing key target metrics framework, designing the execution roadmap to achieve our key targets, and formulating financial and organizational resources plan to support target attainment
- Responsible for cross-functional communications of channel operations to secure adequate understanding and support for our strategy. Key stakeholders include: Cluster team leaders and project POCs, regional team (product, data, resource management etc.), and finance team
- Lead the team in tactical design and execution of assortment strategy, subsidy strategy, marketing strategy and day-to-day operations of key channels
- Manage a sizeable channel operation budget
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years and above working experience. E-commerce industry experience is required. Experiences in channel operations, assortment operations, or other related experiences are strongly preferred
- Proficient in data analytics. Mastering Excel-based analysis is a must. Proficiency with SQL language is strongly preferred
- Great project management and stakeholder management skills. Past experience in driving complex, cross-functional collaborations is strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in executive presentation of high-stake projects is strongly preferred
- Eager to learn and always up to take on new challenges. Experience in dynamic and fast-changing working environments is strongly preferred
- Open to flexible working arrangement outside of regular working hours per business requirements, and open to business travels
