    Construction Project Lead directly oversees miscellaneous construction and signage projects within the Marshalls, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Homesense and Sierra chains. Aids in project schedules and assigning General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors. Distributes all required project documents to exterior and internal contacts. Negotiates pricing, reviews and approves proposals and invoices, tracks progress and ensures close-outs for all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives assigned. Supplies TJX Field Organization and Management a report detailing the status of all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives on a regular basis.

    Major Areas of Responsibility:

    • Create contract preparation memos and DocuSign for General Contractors

    • Ensure Sign Vendors adhere to contract pricing and specifications

    • Track budgets, review and approve all proposals and invoices for assigned construction and signage projects

    • Award miscellaneous construction projects to General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors while staying within budget

    • Responsible for developing schedule strategies to ensure timely completion of projects and cost-effective execution methods

    Who We Are Looking For: You.

    • 3+ years in Store Planning, Architectural Design, Fixturing and Facilities Management or related construction trades is preferred

    • Retail experience is preferred

    • Strong organization and project planning skills are necessary

    • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must

    • Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one time

    • Highly Self Motivated

    • Understanding and ability to read blueprints, specifically Floor Plans, Site Plans and Elevations

    • Strong knowledge of store layouts, HVAC, electrical and plumbing criteria would be desired

    • General construction, fixturing, and retail store planning knowledge is a plus

    • Ability to decipher landlord and city codes as it relates to exterior signs

    • Experience working on complex projects is good to have

    • Adept in Excel, Adobe Acrobat, MS Word and Outlook. Lucernex and Service Channel experience a plus.
