Receiving Associate

Our TJ Maxx Distribution Center (DC) is looking for top notch Receiving Associates. These individuals will play a key role in ensuring merchandise is organized and handled with care to provide value to our customers.

Candidate must be able to work weekend shift (Friday - Sunday, 5:00am - 5:30pm) or Night Shift (Mon-Thurs, 5:00pm - 3:30am)

What does a Warehouse Receiving Associate do?

Our Warehouse Associates are a key member of the merchandise journey. They ensure that the right goods get to the right stores at the right time. They do this amazing work in a fast paced, safe and efficient way. Some of the responsibilities of our Receiving department include the following:

• Unload merchandise from trailers
• Manual lifting and handling of objects such as totes, boxes, or garments
• Utilize computer systems and verify accuracy of purchase orders
• Count, select and sort items by style, color, store order or other criteria
• Pack or unpack merchandise in and out of boxes
• Our ideal candidate should have previous receiving experience and be able to work well with others
• Ability to multi-task is essential in this role
