    We are currently looking for a Regional Logistics Manager who facilitates the implementation of an even outbound flow of merchandise from PC's to CDC's through to our stores in Germany (Sout & East). Ensure that the agreed levels of SLA’s and KPI’s are delivered to the required budgeted costs. Work closely with our Transport providers to support the delivery of the distribution plan. In negotiation with key TJX business partners ensure a smooth flow of merchandise. Monitoring turnaround times within our CDC’s through track and trace whilst maintaining FIFO. Identifying potential risks/opportunities to the delivery of the plan in order to maximize results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support new store opening process by producing store calendar for our processing centers across Germany and Europe.

    • Communicate new store delivery plans and delivery schedule to transport and CDC teams.

    • Regular communication with Regional Managers to understand store changes, refits and remodels 

    • Identify and resolve issues with flow/drivers and transport to ensure minimum impact on stores.

    • Manage and control cost to budget in line with budget/spend.

    • Monitor and report on any customer complaints regarding vehicle/driver performance. Ensuring appropriate action and follow up is in place to communicate with third parties.

    • Hold regular CDC reviews to ensure service and performance targets are being adhered to and taking corrective actions when required.

    • Regularly interrogate and report on OTTER (Outbound Tool for Transportation Execution & Reporting) data input integrity

    • Supporting the district managers and stores in all equipment movement requests by planning and ensuring appropriate actions are taken

    • Ensure all damages of merchandise and transport are reported, and fully investigated with all outcomes being shared.

    • Lead store delivery scheduling and planning for new stores opening process, work with Store Operations and Commercial Planning to plan store openings volumes and flow

    • Ensure 3PL process in place to induct and train all contractors in TJX requirements, including Non Merch, seals, earliest/ latest process, etc.

    Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

    • Managerial experience within a similar size manufacturing, processing or distribution environment

    • Proven working knowledge of Health & Safety and legal requirements within a distribution or processing environment

    • Ability to interpret data and effectively apply outcome to the needs of the business.

    • Knowledge of team dynamics and the effects of a positive working environment

    • Demonstrate the ability to coach, lead and motivate large teams to deliver results.

    • Experience of working within set budgetary and performance targeted workplace.

    • Able to clearly communicate at all levels (direct and indirect reports) delegating to the appropriate level

    • Adaptable and self aware

    • fluent in German and English
