This position will support all US Domestic divisions and Corporate for Global Investigations & Safety-and is responsible for managing workplace safety incidents, coaching the business on managing critical incidents, conducting research on workplace safety incidents, corporate investigations and pre-employment background checks. 

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Manage and provide direction regarding Workplace Safety Incidents to field and corporate partners (DM/DLPM/RLPM), including:

  • Making recommendations on creating a safe environment,
  • Determining the information needed to complete a risk assessment
  • Providing direction on communication
  • Determining additional local and TJX partners to take

• Coach and develop the business on management of critical incidents

• Conduct research and gap analysis regarding workplace safety incidents, corporate investigations and pre-employment background checks

• Conduct end-to-end investigations within home office/corporate, including:

  • Assessing the level of company exposure
  • Determining what partners are needed
  • Providing recommendations for resolution based on findings

• Foster relationships w/LP/Store Ops/HR by proactively partnering and upskilling the business on the GIS function and resources

• Special projects as assigned

• Provide immediate assessment and direction on workplace safety incidents.

• End-to-end home office investigations

• Identifying opportunities to proactively partner with and upskill the business

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to master Open Source Research
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled at software platforms, ie Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to train in critical incident management (including soft skills)
• Open availability to work days, evenings and weekend as necessary
• 2 years minimum retail experience
• Loss Prevention supervisory or management experienced preferred (1-3 years)
