Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance 

Are you looking to impact the financial and operational plans for a multibillion dollar business? Are you someone that takes the time to understand the story behind why decisions are made? This role presents the opportunity to be a strategic partner to our global logistics and finance teams by providing the critical analyses needed to support our global supply chain’s goals and objectives!

Responsibilities:

• Actively drive annual and long range budgeting processes as well as regular forecast updates
• Perform high-level as well as detailed Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting to understand Logistics’ performance and opportunities
• Independently perform month end close duties
• Build and maintain complex financial models to support corporate decision making
• Partner with operational specialists as well as Divisional finance. Coordinate and execute analyses with cross-functional teams; build solutions, provide answers and think creatively
• Present analysis results across all levels of management, including key members of Finance, Logistics and C-level executives

• Annual and Long Range Budgets
• Monthly Rest of Year Forecast Updates
• Risk and Opportunity Analyses
• Support of Month End Close
• Quarterly Earnings Support – Freight analysis and attribution that provides clear and concise insight to TJX freight drivers as part of Quarterly Earnings and Investor/Analyst preparation; This provides direct access to TJX Controller and CFO as we share how freight is impacting total TJX P&L
• Support Senior Management – Presentation preparation and critical metric reporting for Board of Director’s and Operational Summit meetings

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of professional experience, backgrounds in Finance, Consulting, Investment Banking, or other relevant experience
• Experience with key financial concepts, including financial statements, attribution analysis, cash flow and return on investment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, proven analytical skills and quantitative abilities
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with databases, such as SQL and Access is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree with majors in Finance, Economics or Logistics/Supply Chain preferred but not required
