Corporate Finance Manager, US Treasury

This role reports to the AVP Treasury and supports the Treasurer and CFO on subject matter relating to corporate finance and capital markets.  This role is responsible for capital market transactions at the corporate level and overseeing TJX retirement plan investment performance as well as preparing Board materials.

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.

• Is involved in all capital structure related items including debt issuances and loan markets.  Maintains relationships with DCM bankers and is up to date on market trends and TJX’s place in the market.
• Implements the annual Shareholder Distribution as approved by the Board.  This includes reviewing the share repurchase strategy with Treasurer and CFO and driving the agreed to strategy as well as payment of the quarterly dividend.
• Oversees investment performance of TJX’s retirement plans and works with TJX’s Investment Advisor to ensure investments are performing as intended and remain appropriate.
• Prepares Finance Committee materials for the Board of Directors.  This includes shareholder distribution, capital structure and capital markets transactions.
• Prepares materials for TJX’s ERISA Committee, works with internal and external resources, and presents material to the Committee as needed.
• Can speak to economic factors that move markets and why they are important to TJX and our retirement plans.
• Responsible for reporting of Executive Stock ownership for both Proxy and Section 16 transactions.
• Builds Rating Agency presentations and reviews and analyzes metrics and debt capacity within metrics.
• Oversees TJX Equity – this includes the retirement and issuance of stock resulting from share repurchases and issuances from the Stock Incentive Plan.
• Works with TJX Credit Line banks on our Revolving Credit Facility.  Reviews financial metrics for compliance purposes and is up to date on Loan Capital Markets.

Who We Are Looking For: You.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and/or treasury experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant business field
• Previous experience supervising and/or managing successful analysts
• Making recommendations to management on opportunistic capital market transactions, share repurchase strategy, line-up changes for retirement plans and pension discussions.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex financial transactions into easy consumable terms
