    Who we're looking for

    Toyota's Production Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated 2nd Shift Analyst - North America Parts Management.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain standard inventory for North American parts to support production of manufacturing lines at TMMK.

    Reporting to the Manager PC North American Parts Management, the person in this role will support the Production Control department's objective to provide just in time delivery of the required quantity of components necessary to produce high quality vehicles that meet overall sales demand.

    Additionally, the person in this role will support coverage for multiple supply chain groups for 2nd shift to minimize overtime requirements from 1st shift PC process owners. (NPM, Ext Log, Overseas Ordering, CPMS, Packaging).

    What you'll be doing

    • Utilize Toyota systems (Hot Call) to support parts inventory requirements.
    • Request, award & monitor expedite recovery that occur in the supply chain (including near site sequence suppliers).
    • Support External & Internal Logistics groups to reduce internal part shortages & overflow.
    • Provide support to PC/Conveyance abnormal conditions in the supply chain from North American parts Suppliers to TMMK (including near site sequence suppliers).
    • Provide clear and timely communication and coordination with suppliers for:
      • Support of crisis situations minimizing impact to production (including near site sequence suppliers).

      • Ensuring timely expedite shipping to meet need times.

    What you bring

    • A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

    • Parts Management or External/ Internal Logistics or Supply Chain experience.

    • High level proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Power Apps)

    Added bonus if you have

    • Experience in data analysis and visualization.

    • Functional project management skills in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

    • Developing project strategies, problem-solving and countermeasures.

    • Bi-lingual - Spanish fluency

    • Experience and basic understanding of Toyota Way principles including TPS Problem Solving, Hoshin, OJD, Jidoka, JIT, etc.
