What we’re looking for

Toyota’s Assembly Engineering is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Process Engineer

The primary responsibility of this role is to. Support Assembly Quality and Manufacturing Systems

• Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support Production – based on daily occurring issues, the specialist will respond to safety, quality, and productivity issues

What you’ll be doing

• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of production, conveyance, maintenance, inspection, and quality engineering

• Provide technical assistance to production to support process improvement activity

• Provide tools/knowledge and act as a check group to assure all activity meets TMMI’s safety standards as well as OSHA requirements

• Applicants must be capable of gathering detailed data quickly to make daily decisions that can affect the quality of the vehicle.

• Applicant must be capable of utilizing engineering principles to resolve day-to-day concerns.

•  Applicant must possess good communication skills for conversing with all levels at TMMI

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in ME, EE, MET, EET, BSEE, BSET, BSMET, or Automotive Engineering and/or equivalent engineering experience

• Manufacturing experience in an engineering position

• Experience leading cross-functional teams for safety, quality, and productivity improvements

Added bonus if you have

• Automotive manufacturing experience in an engineering position with an emphasis on vehicle structure  

• Equipment Reliability Experience

• Experience in a role utilizing project management skills

• Experience using 3d/AutoCAD

• Toyota experience
