    Who we’re looking for

    Toyota’s Corporate Shared Services (CSS) Project Support Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business System Manager.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to perform all functions necessary to support UKG Workforce Central and Dimensions suite of products. This position serves as a Consultant and Subject matter Expert (SME) in the platform and will routinely be briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of the systems. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the scope, time and budget while managing the resolution of risks, issues, and decisions.

    Reporting to the CSS Project Portfolio Manager, the person in this role will support the Corporate Shared Services department's objective to identify, interpret, and prioritize needs across multiple customers, and then deliver high-quality business solutions.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Work as a consultant in partnership with the project management & payroll projects team to support system project lifecycle activities and to define systems changes, while managing and communicating changes in scope throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Perform configuration, re-configurations, upgrades, enhancements, implementation, maintenance, and user acceptance testing activities within time and labor systems: UKG Workforce Central and Dimensions.
    • Lead a team of skilled, consultants and external vendor partners, and other external resources to deploy new solutions and enhancements to existing ones; in addition to ongoing break/fix and release work.
    • Create and communicate the status of builds, issues, and risks at a detailed / tactical level as well as a summary executive level.
    • Provide/coordinate resolution of issues/troubleshooting while recommending and implementing procedures and controls for problem prevention, escalation, etc.
    • Ensure mechanisms are in place to monitor system performance and meet KPIs for ticket resolution and system configurations.
    • Provide advice, guidance, and formal/informal training to users of supported applications.
    • Maintain detailed knowledge of the assigned application(s) including purpose, capabilities, limitations, and usage within the business in order to be comfortable discussing change impacts and issues.
    • Creating and maintaining a vision roadmap of the platform combining the needs of the business, platform innovation, customer feedback, and external trends.
    • Identify kaizen opportunities where new or enhanced technology will solve business problems and create a strategy for the deployment of solutions while ensuring a sound return on investment.
    • Developing partnerships and works closely with all levels of leadership and across sites and divisions including ITx and HR for new requests/builds and/or troubleshooting of system issues.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent professional experience.
    • Progressive years of experience in UKG Workforce Central (WFC), Kronos &/or Dimensions (WFD) application administration and configuration including navigator, access profiles, display profiles, labor levels, labor accounts, pay policies, accruals, hyperfind queries, record manager, and DCM device management (InTouch terminal configuration) or similar systems experience (Payroll/HR, etc.).
    • Experience with large interconnected systems and processes, including complex integrations between multiple 3rd party and internal systems.
    • Experience implementing multiple initiatives at the same time for systems, applications, and/or technologies in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Basic understanding of payroll business process.
    • Proven track record for successful delivery of projects and working cross-functionally with business and information systems/technology.
    • The ability to learn new technologies and systems and the ability to be responsive with both verbal and written communication, while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
    • Experience leading a team of skilled, consultants and external vendor partners, and other external resources to deploy new solutions and enhancements to existing ones; in addition to ongoing break/fix and release work.
    • Customer-first mind-set with the ability to facilitate and build business relationships based upon an understanding of the customer needs and processes.
    • Proven ability to effectively lead, communicate and collaborate across a diverse and highly complex organizational structure while adapting and staying flexible to changing business needs.

    Added bonus if you have

    • Advanced Degree.
    • Experience managing operations or help desk with a proven track record of meeting SLAs.
    • Understanding of Human Capital Management software such as Workday.
    • Microsoft PowerBI / Tableau experience.
    • Proficiency with SQL queries, Jira, Confluence, and other project tools.
    • Experience with Time and Attendance requirements in a Manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to apply knowledge regarding regulatory requirements.
    • Experience with Microsoft SW Suite including project and SharePoint.
