    What we’re looking for

    Toyota’s Vehicle Marketing and Communications (VMaC) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Cross Vehicle Line Senior Analyst—TSS, ADAS, Vehicle Technology.

    The primary responsibility is managing and leading cross vehicle project initiatives to support Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and emerging vehicle technology brand marketing, which includes, but is not limited to the following areas: cross-communication and coordination with VMaC and PPS series teams, direct contact with Legal, Quality and Engineering, as well as extensive support to the PSE and Corporate Communications departments, as well as Lexus Division. This role also directly interfaces with the BEC department supporting voice of the customer initiatives.

    Reporting to the Vehicle Marketing and Communications Cross Vehicle Manager, the person in this role will support the VMaC department's objective to provide enterprise leadership and key understanding for all stakeholders as emerging technologies like advanced driving features and Over-the-Air (OTA) software technology are introduced into the vehicle lineup.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Provide strategic guidance to the VMaC team while serving as the visible subject matter expert (SME) for all TSS and advanced vehicle technology activity—and, to actively conduct ongoing individual and group awareness activity to ensure brand systems are prominently featured.

    • Appropriate, accurate and timely dissemination of new product information and general common language marketing support to the VMaC series teams.

    • Provide technical understanding and correct application of marketing terminology, as well as create and distribute dedicated marketing collateral.

    • Develop and implement strategies to support the adoption of features across multiple vehicle lines within the Toyota brand while directing our agency partners in managing the Toyota.com and Toyotaowners.com digital site presence and functionality. Specific areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Support Marketing and the Toyota Division with forward technology strategy with new and existing cross vehicle systems.
      • Collaborate with PPS, R&D and TMC OTA & Woven Core on future products.
      • TSS sustainment campaign integration.
      • Engagement / branding event management for auto shows & specials events.
      • Vehicle Quick Reference Guide & Vehicle Checklist program coordination.
      • Vendor partner activation and REQ / PO creation & invoice processing.
      • Tier 3 POS & TDDS content administration.
      • Automated driving technology Task Force coordination.
      • Global Safety Package (GSP) Task Force meeting support.
    • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position.

    What you bring

    • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
    • Demonstrated experience in technical training, quality, research & development, or automotive industry.
    • Passion for innovation and vehicle technologies that cross all models.
    • Proven, strong analytical skills used for identifying trends from multiple data sources.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-organizational teams where results are achieved through influence and the incorporation of multiple points of view.
    • Superior time management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
    • A structured mindset to evaluate multiple scenarios and select the best solution through a quantitative process.
    • Independently motivated, detail oriented and good problem-solving ability.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical and non-technical information to mixed audiences, including department and executive leadership.
    • Proficiency with MS Office skills (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook).

    • A passion for the automotive industry and familiarity with Toyota, Lexus and competitor products.
    • Familiarity with Toyota’s A3 approach to problem solving and concept presentations.
