    Who we're looking for

    Toyota's Production Control department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Packaging Development Analyst.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and monitor daily packaging requirements for all supplied parts and shipments for TMMAL coordinating with customers, suppliers, other NAMCs and TMC.

    Reporting to the Production Control Manager, the person in this role will support the PC department's objective to provide on-time delivery of parts meeting all safety and quality requirements.

    What you'll be doing

    • Develop and kaizen packaging for North American and overseas suppliers

    • Develop systems to monitor and track packaging supply, coordinating with vendors to procure / repair packaging as needed

    • Update and maintain packaging database VPACS for any changes due to new projects, ECI implementations and kaizens

    • Develop and track annual budgets for packaging requirements

    • Lead problem solving activities related to packaging issues coordinating with production, logistics, suppliers and customers

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree preferably in packaging / logistics or 3+ years of equivalent work experience

    • Self-driven leader with excellent time management skills

    • Knowledge of packaging, supply chain and logistic operations

    • Project Management skills

    • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel skills

    • Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills

    Added bonus if you have

    • Prior Toyota experience

    • Knowledge of packaging materials and industry

    • Power BI and database experience
