    Who we’re looking for:

    Toyota’s Information Technology Experiences (ITx) organization is looking for a passionate and highly motivated SAP Big Data Technology Leader within the Business Platform Operations department.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and run Toyota’s SAP Big Data analytics platform integrating with S4/Hana platform.

    Reporting to the Group Manager, the person in this role will support the Business Platform Operations Department's objective to provide IT leadership and expertise to enable the business units to drive operational performance improvements by leveraging SAP data, reporting, and analytics capabilities.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Oversee and deliver all activities of data and analytics for SAP platform and transformation programs to champion the standardization of data and makng it easier for the business to access the data in a meaningful way to make sound decisions.
    • Collaboration with business unit heads to identify the opportunities, growth levers and aid them with data and analytics to ensure delivery of desired operational results and business performance.
    • Lead the SAP Data and Big Data Analytics Strategy working with the business and technical teams leveraging industry best practices, establish an efficient and effective operating model across the organization with appropriate competencies in data management and governance, data integration and transformation, data migration, data analysis, data science and analytics, advanced analytics, operational reporting, and related areas.
    • Develop a data-driven culture by complementing process standardization in the organization, drive digital innovation using data and analytics, be a change agent in digital transformation of the SAP cross-functional data.
    • Accountable for delivering the value of enterprise information and data assets by partnering with the business and publishing the information architecture, roadmap, providing appropriate insights by implementing various technology applications, tools, and accelerators.

    What you’ll bring:

    • Ability to interface with non-technical end-users and translate business requests into technical requests, comfortable communicating with stakeholders to define requirements
    • Good experience and understanding of ERP processes, specifically S/4HANA and the data integration with big data platform used for reporting and analytics
    • Experience working with Databricks, AWS Redshift Spectrum
    • Experience in Big Data technologies and solutions (Spark) and multiple scripting and languages 
    • Expertise in cloud architecture building real-time data pipelines and scaling data transformations
    • Experience preparing data/data modeling for use in viz tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx, Talen.

    Added bonus if you have: 

    • HANA 2.0 experience.
    • Ability to work with large, distributed teams onshore and offshore with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities.
    • Ability to work at a fast pace under high pressure.
    • Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
    • Strong business process knowledge.
    • Enthusiastic and eager to take responsibility and initiative.
    • Self-motivated individuals are preferred.
