    Who We’re Looking For

    Toyota’s Information Technology Experiences (ITx) organization is looking for a passionate and highly motivated SAP Platform Middleware Engineer within the Business Platform Operations department.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to work as SAP Middleware Consultant focusing on developing, designing, and implementing integration for applications interacting with SAP systems. This can consist of legacy, Mainframe, or any other third-party systems. Along with native integrations patterns exposure to BTP, CPI and use of cloud API also required.

    Reporting to the Manager, SAP Middleware Technology, the person in this role will support the Business Platform Operations department's objective to provide in-depth knowledge of PI/PO, BTP, CPI and SAAS integration to on premise SAP systems, productivity, and optimization of Toyota’s investment with maximum returns.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Responsible for prototyping complex, interface design integrating non-SAP application to SAP S/4 HANA using BTP, APIGEE, EIG, or ESB. Working with various business Application owner teams, gathers information, provide direction, and walk thru proposed design. Along with Business teams also work with IT partners with solution implementation.
    • Designs and develops architecture (integrated process, methodology, framework, software/applications, data, information, and technology) scalable solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and enterprise security standards
    • Educates and drives adoption of the well-architected framework to promote Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency into cultural norms
    • Hands-on with architecture and engineering activities and is deeply embedded in the role of technology. Acknowledged as expert in field by colleagues and customers. Shares knowledge and expertise across the organization and participate in cross organization initiatives.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business Administration or Management Information Systems or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
    • Hands on experience in SAP PI/PO, Informatica, API Development and Cloud API development
    • Demonstrated experience across integration product suites layers (adapter, orchestration, messaging, B2B gateway, security) using cloud API
    • Hands-on experience with various connectors configuration, API development and ETL tools integrating with SAP
    • Knowledge of UML, XML, XSD, XLST, SQL, JMS, SOAAP/WSDL and RES
    • Experience with new technology like SAP BTP Middleware, Google APIGEE and other Enterprise Service Bus
    • Experience using verbal and written communications skills effectively to work across teams to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

    • Ability to work in fast pace under high pressure
    • Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies
    • Strong business process knowledge
    • Professional certifications related to SAP PO and SAP BTP
    • Advanced degree (Masters or higher)

    This position is based in Plano, TX. Toyota encourages all employees to live within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned work location.
