    Who we’re looking for

    Toyota’s Production Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Systems and Projects Senior Analyst 

    The primary responsibility of this role is to support, maintain and develop system tools for Production Control.

    Reporting to the Production Control Supply Chain Systems and Projects Manager, the person in this role will support PC efficiency and quality while implementing and supporting innovative solutions.

    This position requires an in-depth knowledge of various systems platforms, as well as strong communication, problem solving, negotiating, analytical and crisis management skills.           

    What you’ll be doing

    • Developing and maintaining local tools in to support PC department-wide.
    • Supporting global and regional tool training, rollout, and maintenance.  These include but are not limited to eKanban, Overseas Parts Ordering (OSP), Hot Call Management, Regional Overflow Management, SAP, etc.
    • Supporting inventory and lineside management through a strong knowledge of parts flow and the complete supply chain.
    • Leading problem-solving activities, specifically identifying innovative solutions to prevent future flowout and providing data mining support.
    • Leading PC Office Automation and kaizen.
    • Supporting ad hoc requests for data analysis and investigations.
    • Leading plant-wide systems implementations related to Production Control.
    • Collaborating with Information Systems members to problem solve and identify new solutions to increase the efficiency of Production Control and the Supply Chain.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's Degree (or Higher) in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Information Technology, related manufacturing bachelor’s degrees, or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong mathematical skill, which may include a college Major or Minor in Mathematics
    • Experience in developing tools and/or applications from concept to production
    • KPI Management/Visualization experience including visualizing data through milestone management.
    • Experience coordinating, presenting, or leading decision-making meetings
    • Experience and basic understanding of Toyota Way Principles including TPS problem solving, Hoshin, OJD, JIT, etc.
    • Willing and able to work overtime, travel for work, and support weekend production.
    • What is your proficiency with Microsoft Excel
    • What is your proficiency with Microsoft Access
    • What is your proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint

    Added bonus if you have

    • Operational knowledge of server e-Kanban, ILMS, or other Toyota Supply Chain systems
    • Previous experience at TMMK or other NAMC in North American Parts Inventory Management or Logistics Management
    • Experience managing and developing on AWS, SQL, Alteryx, MS Power Platform
    • Experience in External or Internal Logistics management
    • Functional project management skills in a large-scale manufacturing environment
    • Developing project strategies, problem-solving and countermeasures
    • TBP Panel Completion
    • JKK through completion
    • Experience with end-to-end Production Control function including 2 or more sections
