Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Emerging Energy Solution Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Electrical engineer to work on vehicle and home-connected electrical systems
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and lead various vehicle/home-connected electrical systems like stationary battery systems, V2X (V2H, V2L, V2G, V1G), Charging products, and evaluate these systems.
Reporting to the Powertrain Senior Engineering Manager, the person in this role will work to fulfill the Electrified Vehicle Control department's objective of supporting Toyota’s shift to mobility by ensuring high-quality software and hardware development.

What you bring
Extensive Electrical engineering knowledge with quality first mindset
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Combined experience with charging system, stationary battery energy system,V2G, V2L and V2H system
Knowledge of regulations and standards for these technologies
Experience of testing/validating above systems
What you may bring
Master of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience in powertrain controls development
Electronics or connected technology development experience
Experience and knowledge of CATIA to understand component design
Hands-on experience mentoring engineers
Project management skills to track progress and provide high-quality deliverables on time
