    ation electronic components that enhance vehicle performance and user experience. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting Toyota's mission to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that delight our customers and drive progress in automotive technology.

    What you'll be doing

    As a Senior Electronic Applications Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing advanced electronic systems for Toyota vehicles. You'll collaborate across global teams, lead development efforts, and contribute to innovation that improves the driving experience.

    • Define part and system structures through target setting, packaging, electrical interface design, and style feasibility

    • Own the development of electronic components for specific vehicle projects, ensuring timely and error-free output

    • Lead product development through project milestones in collaboration with cross-functional teams

    • Drive innovation by benchmarking competitor technologies and proposing next-generation solutions

    • Create and manage development schedules through Start of Production (SOP), including risk management and recovery planning

    • Participate in domestic and international evaluations and manufacturing events

    • Facilitate communication between Toyota's U.S. and Japan engineering teams

    • Support the growth of TMNA's electrical systems development capabilities

    • Lead performance and functional specification creation for Cockpit Electronics

    • Collaborate with local engineers and customers to resolve issues and conduct joint testing

    • Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth within the team

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

    • 6+ years of experience leading or contributing to ADAS or electronic systems development from concept to production

    • Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate across internal and external teams

    • Experience with vehicle ECU architecture, CAN/CAN-FD communication

    • Proficiency in development quality tools such as DFMEA, DRBFM, and FTA

    • Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills

    • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    • Willingness to work overtime (up to 10%) and travel domestically/internationally (up to 5%)

    Added bonus if you have

    • Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science

    • Fundamental knowledge of circuitry

    • Experience using CATIA or similar design systems

    • Completion of Toyota Business Practices (TBP) training
