    Who we’re looking for

    Toyota’s Information Security Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated IT Compliance Analyst.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to build strong relationships with Information Technology, Data, and second/third line risk, legal, and compliance functions to drive Toyota Financial Services (TFS) risk culture.  

    Reporting to the IT Compliance Manager, the person in this role will support the Information Security department's objective to conduct risk assessments, monitoring Information Technology Compliance risk, control testing, and assisting in the continued adherence to and maturation of the IT Compliance Program.

    What you’ll be doing 

    •    Execute process reviews/control tests, including facilitation of process interviews, documentation of company processes and procedures, execution of internal controls testing, identification of issues, completion of project review procedures, and communication of internal audit results.
    •    Independently evaluate the technology compliance program, general computing control structure of the Company (systems and architecture) and be able to apply that knowledge to how it supports the processes and procedures being reviewed.
    •    Make recommendations to technology leaders on control deficiencies and follow up to ensure significant deficiencies are corrected.
    •    Assist process owners with development of appropriate action plans to address identified deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner to effectively address the issues.
    •    Communicate trends in risk and control issues to senior management on the results of ongoing reviews of the businesses that are key relationships, or any other business as requested.
    •    Raise the technical knowledge of the group through various courses, seminars and in-house training in the areas of Information Technology for existing and emerging technologies, and related risk management framework, compliance and audit techniques.
    •    Proactively find opportunities to improve and strengthen the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) control environment; provides guidance and recommendations to senior leadership in the execution of ICFR activities and assists with ICFR training activities.

    What you bring 

    •    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent related field.
    •    Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in applying the principles and practices of internal auditing in accounting, financial, and operational environments, including auditing business functions and information technology systems.
    •    Demonstrated knowledge in the following areas: IT Governance, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, IT application controls, IT System Development/Acquisition, Project Management, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing.
    •    Applicable experience in the risk management, compliance, or audit fields.
    •    Experience with operational risk management and/or auditing, Sarbanes Oxley, COSO requirements.
    •    Experience with implementation and/or use of GRC systems.
    •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Added bonus if you have 

    •    Advanced Degree (MA or MS).
    •    Progressive years of relevant work experience in similar field and/or industry.
    •    Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
    •    Data Management background a plus.
