Who we’re looking for
TMNA HR’s Workforce Planning team is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Workforce Planning Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to utilize workforce planning and analysis tools to develop recommendations that help drive workforce planning strategies that are aligned with business needs.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Workforce Planning, the person in this role will support the group’s objectives by developing headcount and staffing plans across the organization and providing key workforce information to senior management on plan/forecast variances and other business strategies.
What you’ll be doing
• Create and maintain headcount and labor cost reports, charts, KPIs, and presentations to support the development of Toyota North America Mid Term Business Plan.
• Develop and maintain ongoing statistical analysis of workforce key performance indicators by function
• Develop Workday reports and data extracts to support analysis, reporting, data integrity audits, and support other HR functions.
• Responsible for developing statistical models for analysis and recommendations to HR leadership.
• Develop and consult on new strategies for optimizing talent and making recommendations to HRBAs and the organization’s leadership.
• Research and analyze key labor trends and conduct internal and external benchmarking to provide insight into future workforce requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Design, analyze, report, and continuously improve actionable key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure HR and organizational performance.
• Process mapping and analysis/recommendations of improvement opportunities.
• Develop strong collaborative relationships with HR work groups and other business units in the development of workforce plans and cataloging relevant workforce metrics.
• Research and analysis of talent trends; conduct internal and external benchmarking to provide insight into future workforce requirements, risks, and opportunities.
What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Strong business acumen, with proven ability in data analysis and interpretation, statistical application, and/or workforce modeling.
• Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail Ability to concisely/convincingly present and support a position using data.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision while achieving results with aggressive deadlines.
• Must be able to lead cross-functional teams, build relationships of trust, and excel in a team environment.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; with advanced MS Excel and Access experience.
Added bonus if you have
• Experience developing business proposals or A3s.
• Workforce planning experience.
• Experience with relational database design and maintenance.
• Experience developing and maintaining WorkDay or other HR reports.
