    Position summary

    Are you an innovative thinker? Are you focused on the details, even when under pressure? Do you enjoy delivering enhanced change capabilities across a range of business functions?

    We’re looking for a Director, Litigation & Regulatory Lawyer to:

    •Advise and direct outside counsel in litigation matters and regulatory and enforcement proceedings.
    •Conduct internal investigations from beginning to end. Provide clear and concise advice to our partners in legal, compliance, and the business.
    •Advise our senior management on litigation and regulatory matters.
    •Collaborate with a team of experienced lawyers and paralegals, responsible for all litigation and arbitration matters in the Americas, covering the Investment Bank, Asset Management and Wealth Management Americas (excluding employment-related matters).
    •Carry out internal investigations and significant enforcement matters working with our litigation colleagues around the world.
    •Advise and report to internal stakeholders on pending and threatened (including civil, criminal and administrative) litigation and contentious regulatory proceedings.
    •Advise and assist with dispute prevention and broader risk management, including giving pre-litigation / pre-investigation advice to internal stakeholders.
    •Provide training to various teams within the firm on litigation / regulatory developments, policies and procedures.
    •Consistently interpret and apply UBS policy.
    •Manage relationships with external counsel and ensure their advice is timely, relevant and fits the bank’s strategic objectives.
    •Collaborate closely with Compliance, Group Investigations and Regulatory Affairs and others members of the Global Litigation team.
