Cloud Engineer/Technician (Cloud Ops)

Description

UKG is currently seeking a detail-oriented, Level III technician based in Noida to assist our Cloud Deployment team with one-off and upgrade applications to our customers' hosted environments. The position requires an individual that will thrive with minimal supervision. The schedule requires flexible weekday and weekend availability from 10:30 PM to 8:30 AM Eastern time zone.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Upgrade our suite of products twice a year for all customers across all of UKG's hosted environments
Apply one-offs and hotfixes to customer environments
Apply custom feature packages to specific clients
Complete assigned tasks timely and with quality, meeting established service level agreements
Rely on instructions, pre-established guidelines, policies and procedures to perform job functions
Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
5+ years' experience working in Information Technology field
Familiar with Windows Server and IIS
Knowledgeable of Cloud based hosting architectures and solutions
Excellent complex technical problem analysis skills
Highly familiar with Windows based operating systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Server hardware knowledge
Ability to quickly grasp and understand system functionality and architecture at a technical level
Remain agile in an evolving technology operations landscape
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Detail oriented and works well under minimal supervision
Fluently speaks and writes in English

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with scripting languages (VB Script, Powershell, Python)
Prior DevOps experience
Familiar with Microsoft Active Directory, .NET architecture and Citrix
An understanding of GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related technology degree preferred
