DevOps Engineer - Lowell, MA

Description

We are currently seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer who's ready to help us scale our delivery of value. You'll need to have strong experience in Google Cloud Platform and a lean approach to delivery.
Responsibilities:
Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
Collaborate closely with engineering professionals within the organization to streamline delivery to the cloud
Help eliminate all manual intervention associated with delivery of value
Build and maintain tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards and reduce errors
Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production delivery, catching and solving issues before launch
Test our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed
Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
1-3 years of experience developing/engineering experience
Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed solution
Experience delivering and managing solutions in a cloud-based environment
Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Windows-based infrastructure, and Google Cloud Platform
Experience with databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch a plus
Knowledge of development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, Bash
Experience with Agile Delivery, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
Strong communication skills
Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
