Description

Our successful business has grown significantly recently and is forecast to continue growing with our new innovative product offering – Workforce Dimensions. As General Manager for our Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia region you’ll develop and direct our sales and growth strategies, lead the team, and become an integral member of the leadership team. You will report into the UKG General Vice President of Asia Pacific, and Latin America, who also serves as the Global Ambassador for Great Place to Work. You will facilitate cross functional planning and collaboration.

Your experience of progressive business to business sales experience acquired within large, complex software organizations will enable your success in this role, which will be highly visible globally at the most senior levels of our business.

This is a highly visible role, both internally and externally, that requires a highly collaborative leader who is comfortable working in a matrixed environment and can drive alignment with the ANZ SEA region. This leader will be expected to have a point-of view that is shaped by the voice of the customer, market insights, and competitive threats that help shape our GTM strategies, the skills we will need to win, and evolution of our strategic roadmaps.

This position is open to Sydney based candidates who can maintain an active presence in our Macquarie Park head office and will require significant travel both domestically and internationally.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Driving strategic and meaningful outcomes at UKG in this regional leadership role
• Continue to evolve a Great Place to Work For All Culture
• Lead the collaboration on Go to Market strategies to achieve sustained hyper-growth, whilst developing aggressive new growth and high account retention related to expansion of market share across all segments.
• Collaborate with senior cross functional leadership to develop and leverage organisation-wide processes, capabilities and relationships to accelerate business growth, establish an integrated execution strategy and create a holistic cross functional approach
• Broaden and deepen penetration of markets, with an emphasis on raising the UKG Brand with key C-level senior decision-makers by demonstrating thought leadership
• The lead spokesperson for UKG with local media, and political interactions,
• Promote a culture where UKG will be both a supplier and employer of choice,
• Lead a culture where our employees are proud to work for UKG, because they can recognise their full potential, and are recognised for it
• Develop, coach, and retain a highly effective team with the ability to anticipate and quickly evolve new and different types of opportunities in this dynamic market. Invest time and resources required to ensure that a culture of development and enablement in inculcated into the mindset of the leadership team, and extended team.
• This position also requires succeeding in a global and highly matrix organisation. You will need to demonstrate exceptional collaboration and communication skills to effectively engage with local and international stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to a group of senior leaders that allows for delegation and empowerment of the team
• Providing accurate FCST across all segments on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual basis
• Being the Executive Sponsor of our Belonging, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion projects that impact our employees locally including being an active part of the Reconciliation Action Plan Working group

• An innate ability to inspire customers, peers, partners and extended cross functional teams with a high service orientation that allows others to achieve their goals and objectives
• A passion for the industry, as well as the acute listening and consultative skills that are required to understand the industry and the problems/opportunities executive leaders are confronted with in the space
• A bachelor’s degree, and an MBA in business, marketing or related field or equivalent experience advantageous
• The role requires extensive travel and you would be expected to travel domestically and internationally 50% of the time
