About the Internal Audit Internship

UKG is looking for an intern to join our internal audit team for the summer of 2025! As an internal audit intern, you will work on various engagements including Operation, IT and integrated audits. You will join a highly advanced internal audit team and be exposed to the latest auditing, robot process automation and data analytics tools. Your work will span several functions, processes and financial systems and will directly contribute to the success of a dynamic global SaaS technology leader.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with internal audit leaders and staff to execute various audit assignments including controls testing, operational audits, ITGC, and compliance reviews.

• Appropriately manage communications with engagement stakeholders.

• Apply classroom knowledge to analyze audit results, determine deficiencies and vulnerabilities to be remediated and develop proposals for solutions.

• Represent Internal Audit as a competent and trusted partner and live the company values.

• Develop and hone professional soft skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree - preference will be given to students in their junior year (3rd year) with prior internship experience. Graduating students are eligible if they are returning to school to pursue another degree the following semester.

• Pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, Audit, Compliance or related areas.

• Able to commit to a full-time internship for 12 weeks starting late May through mid-August 2025 (dates above)

• Microsoft suite proficiency, with an emphasis on Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with stakeholders and to ensure timely escalation when needed to meet the timelines.

• Excellent and effective communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to listen actively

• Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style, as well as the ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures

• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs) is a plus

The pay range for this position is $20 - $25/hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
