About the Team:
This position works as part of the Business Resiliency team within the Enterprise Risk department, which is responsible for supporting business continuity activities across the enterprise. The role offers the opportunity to be engaged in all facets of business continuity, including security, privacy, risk and crisis management, and security and compliance program development.
About the Role:
As a member of the department, the individual will be committed to overall data protection, risk management and its role in the company's continued success. The Crisis Management Analyst is a highly visible role that interfaces with key stakeholders in the organization and may also support UKG Customers and Partners. The position demands an organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work and support multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong communication and customer focus is required.
• Support Crisis Management events to ensure appropriate communication and governance.
• Lead validation, maintenance, and testing of crisis management plans.
• Respond and support Business Continuity on all Crisis exercises/events (pandemics, natural disasters, workplace violence, or any security incident)
• Supports the crisis response during events. Lead analyses, response efforts and reporting activities
• Create and distribute communications to stakeholders and leadership during crisis events.
• Support business continuity program development and execution to further develop and enhance the crisis management program.
• Log events managed with accuracy.
• Leverage relevant Business Continuity strategies in time of disaster to recover company’s critical business functions.
• Assess the regular validation and testing of documented Business Continuity plans.
• Coordinate with plan owners to review existing crisis management plans.
• Monitor performance metrics for critical business functions.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of training and awareness materials.
• Develop strong working relationships and communications with internal and external Business Continuity stakeholders.
• Provide expertise in supporting the strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing maintenance of Business Continuity management system database.
Qualifications
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
• 7-10+ years of experience working in crisis management, information security, risk management and information security frameworks including ISO 27001/22301
• BS/AS degree in related field or equivalent experience with minimum of 5+ years overall work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated knowledge of business continuity practices and risk
• Ability to collaborate with others to develop contingency plans.
• Must have strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is critical.
• Experience with mass notification tools
• Familiarity with business continuity management systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification preferred.
