Senior Principal Software Engineer

Description

Kronos Noida is hiring software professionals who are high on energy, enthusiastic and eager to work on .NET technology. As part of the role, you will be responsible for developing enhancements, deployment of code and supporting our existing product suite written using .NET Technologies. Additional duties would include educating and evangelizing to the rest of the team best practices around development practices, .NET core framework, performance, and reliability.

The candidate must demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Develop software products using modelling techniques and software design patterns

Develop web-based business applications

Participate in coding & designing of the application software

Engage in code reviews and training of team members.

Support continuous deployment pipeline code.

Situationally troubleshoot production issues alongside the support team.

Continually research and recommend product improvements.

Create and integrate features for our enterprise software solution using the .NET Technologies

Actively communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals

Leverage open source and other technologies and languages outside of the .NET framework should the need arise, and autonomously be able to make use of those decisions

Develop solutions to maximize the performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of the system

Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated to the engineering team

Work with development teams in an agile context as it relates to software development, including test driven development, automated unit testing and test fixtures, and pair programming

Provide mentorship and coaching to the developers, testers in all levels

Actively participate in daily code reviews with talented software engineers and architects

Qualifications

8-12 years of industry experience, including technical leadership experience in software development

Experience in ASP .Net design and programming with Visual Studio Professional

Experience with C# and .Net Framework design and programming

Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React JS, Knockout JS and / or Angular

Experience with, or understanding of, Agile/Lean Software Development practices such as Kanban or Scrum and TDD (Test-Driven Development)

Proficiency with Git as a version control system

Software development experience including, object-oriented design, concurrency and multi-threaded programming, design patterns, event-driven architecture, and acceptance testing

Experience in database modelling, relational and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, and techniques/tools such as MySQL, SQL, etc.

Exposure to continuous deployment, unit testing and automation tools like Jasmine & Selenium

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills and passion for cutting edge technologies

Ability to develop, implement and document best practices and development standards for the team

Ability to ensure that the team is adhering to best practices within the specified security guidelines

Ability to collaborate with business partners, team members and management to develop optimal solutions

Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies

Provide technical assistance to developers on complex projects as needed

Provide solution assistance to Business Analysts on complex projects as needed

Develop and document reusable and maintainable code patterns for the team

Complete code reviews to ensure that development standards are being followed

Assist with the ongoing training and mentoring of Software Engineers

Ability to communicate and apply common architectural design patterns across a wide range of technical problems

Solid understanding of security/access control, scalability, high availability, and concurrency patterns

Excellent coaching and feedback skills

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship building skills

Ability to communicate information effectively to customers at various organizational levels
